Mo. Highway Patrol Working Three Fatal Crashes

ST. LOUIS (KMOX)- Three St. Louis area residents were killed in separate crashes, Saturday, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Troopers say 23-year-old Cameron Boersig of Town and Country died shortly after ten Saturday night when his SUV ran off Highway 54 in Cole County and hit a guardrail.

Just before six Saturday night, 37-year-old Sarah Light of Potosi was killed in a crash on a private road in Washington County. Light’s vehicle ran off the road and overturned. A passenger suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital.

Troopers say a head-on crash in Gasconade County claimed the life of 81-year-old James Bruns of Cuba, Saturday afternoon. A truck crossed the center line and hit Bruns’ vehicle on Highway 19.
