2-Month-Old Unharmed After Carjacking; Suspect Still at Large

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, a woman’s car was taken by an unknown male from the Gulf gas station at Natural Bridge Avenue and Goodfellow Boulevard in North St. Louis.

At the time, the woman’s 2-month-old baby was in the car. The suspect dropped the baby off unharmed a few miles away.

St. Louis police located the baby inside of a restroom at Sherman Park behind Wohl’s Recreation Center on North Kingshighway Boulevard in North St. Louis.

Capt. Eric Larson said the mother (who wished not to be identified) went into the gas station’s convenience store and came back out to find her car and baby gone.

The suspect is at large, but police recovered the vehicle on Lotus Avenue, just a few blocks from the park where the baby was dropped off.
