Granite City Man Suspected of Fairview Heights Break-In

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Il. (KMOX) – Fairview Heights police say they’ve caught a man suspected in a weekend home break-in.

A neighbor spotted a man using a crowbar to smash out the window of a home in the 200 of Lucinda Drive Sunday afternoon.

When police arrived, the suspect ran into some nearby woods but was captured a short time later.

Scott Braswell, 43, of Granite City is jailed on charges of burglary and obstructing a peace officer.
