(KMOX) – A southern Illinois doctor who works at a clinic where many patients try to access the state’s medical marijuana program has been subpoenaed in a state and federal investigation.
The investigation is in response to alleged improper controlled substance prescriptions from Dr. Bodo Schneider.
Schneider is the medical director of clinics in Marion and Orland Park, a Chicago suburb. He has said he has followed all of the state’s rules for the program.
The terms of the subpoena require Schneider to provide medical records to the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation by Oct. 7.
