Overnight America Interviews: October 3rd, 2016 – Jewel, Melissa Etheridge, Jesse James Dupree

Jewel is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, actress, author, and poet. She has received four Grammy Award nominations and, as of 2008, has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.  This morning Jewel talked with Jon about her new album, family, and life in Alaska before she made it big.


Melissa Etheridge is an American rock singer-songwriter, guitarist, and activist.  Her self-titled debut album Melissa Etheridge was released in 1988 and became an underground hit.  This morning Melissa spoke with Jon about her new album and the inspiration behind it.


Jesse James Dupree is an American musician, television personality, and businessman. Dupree is the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter in the rock band Jackyl, founded in 1991.  As a solo performer, he released albums in 2000 and 2008 under the names of “Jesse James Dupree” and “Jesse James Dupree & Dixie Inc.”, respectively.  Jesse spoke to Jon about his career and more on the show this morning.
