How Merriam-Webster Won Twitter Again During The Presidential Debate

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – As was expected, the second presidential debate set social media on fire. Supporters of both presidential candidates kept track of tonight’s jabs and zingers. But one Twitter handle stood out (again) from the rest: the account of Merriam-Webster, the venerable dictionary publisher.

The dictionary account known to post with a heavy dose of sass, broke it out again for tonight’s debate.

And the dictionary account continued to stay strong throughout the debate:

Merriam-Webster: Making us all just a little smarter since 1828.
