Injured Hazelwood Officer Making Progress

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A Hazelwood police officer seriously-injured in a car crash while on duty continues his recovery.

Back on August 25th, Officer Craig Tudor was responding to an emergency call with his siren and lights activated, when a driver coming the other way struck Tudor’s squad car.

Tudor was airlifted to a hospital with critical injuries.

Officer Tudor has been recovering at Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado, a world-renowned rehab hospital.

Tudor’s wife Christine reports that this week doctors removed his tracheotomy and c-collar, and his feeding tube should be removed sometime soon.

Christine-writing on her Facebook page-says her husband is slowly building endurance and strength, but he still tires out easily.

Christine Tudor also asked for continued prayers for her husband. and added they are heartbroken over the death of St Louis County police officer Blake Snyder.
