We covered a couple of very important topics on this Sunday morning: Haiti after Hurricane Matthew and fighting crime in St. Louis.
KMOX’s Kyle McCellan, the Florissant native and former Cardinals’ pitcher, operates a charity that helps an orphanage in Haiti. Kyle joined us this morning to provide an update on how the island is doing after being hit by Matthew. You can hear it here.

For a decade now, St. Louis Regional Crimestoppers has provided an anonymous method for citizens to help police solve crimes and collect a reward for doing so. It relies on public donations to operate and provide the reward money. We talked with Executive Director Lisa Pisciotta about what the organization does, how it works and how you can help. The interview is here. For more information, and to get a look at the people police are looking for, click here.
Harry Hamm this morning reviewed the new flick “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”. You can hear his review here.
Our celebrations today include pastors, a sandwich and moldy cheese. That list is here.
Those celebrating birthdays include a singer who’s running on empty, a St. Louis native who’s fighting crime in New Orleans (on TV) and a great female golfer. That list is here.
Thanks for joining us. Enjoy your week. We’ll visit with you again next Saturday!
