Juveniles Caught in Fairview Heights Graffiti Crimes

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOX) – Fairview Heights police say they’ve now developed evidence that two juvenile girls were responsible for this weekend’s graffiti attack that resulted in 10 separate criminal reports.

Detectives say they were able to “piece together” evidence recovered from the crime scene to pinpoint the culprits, who are not being identified because of their age.

Black spraypaint was used to tag a home, a truck, several street signs and a restroom at the Miracle League ball field in Moody Park.

Most of the graffiti took the form of the number “13”.
