Presidential Debate Shines Spotlight on St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – It’s been a week since Washington University hosted the second presidential debate, but the good vibes for St. Louis continue to resonate.

Explore St. Louis President Kitty Ratcliffe says they have received “tremendous feedback” from a dozen CEO’s of national organizations in Chicago just a few days ago.

The debate the first thing they all wanted to talk about.

“They talked about what great publicity they had seen, not only about the city but about the university as well,” she says.

Ratcliffe says the praise from media members who explored St. Louis while they were here, is advertising the region could never afford. She adds positive impressions like these will go a long way in helping those organizations decide to hold their meetings and events in St. Louis.
