Arrest Made in House Springs Homicide

House Springs, MO (KMOX) Charges have now been filed in connection with a fatal shooting Saturday in House Springs.

Jefferson County Sheriff David Marshak says 21 year old John Sutterfield is facing charges of 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action after the shooting death of 19 year old Bryan Scholz Saturday afternoon.

The shooting happened outside Scholz’s residence in the Sycamore Springs Mobile Home Park.

Sutterfield is in custody with a 500-thousand dollar cash-only bond.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A suspect is in custody for Saturday’s fatal shooting at a mobile home park in House Springs.  A suspect surrendered to Jefferson County Sheriff’s officers around 8:40 p.m. at a home in the 4700 block of Tina Drive.
Authorities say the suspect was being sought after an unidentified person was found dead around 2:30 p.m. Saturday outside a home in the Sycamore Springs Mobile Home Park.  He’d been shot several times.
