ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The last iconic building in the Pevely dairy complex is coming down.

The Post-Dispatch reports St. Louis University filed for the demolition permits last week. It’s expected to cost nearly $900 thousand to bring down the building at the corner of Grand and Chouteau.

SLU will use the land for its new hospital and educational facility. Demolition could start in a couple of weeks. Prairie Farms closed the facility in 2008.
