St. Louis City has Highest Obesity, Smoking Rates

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The latest County Health Rankings report by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is out, giving us a glimpse at where we stand on some critical health issues throughout the region.

The highest rate of adult obesity in the metro area is found in St. Louis City at 34 percent, the lowest in St. Charles County at 25 percent.

The highest rate of adult smoking is also in St. Louis City at 26 percent and the lowest in Monroe County, Illinois at 13 percent.
