St. Louis Fire Captain Injured In Fall

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A St. Louis Fire Department captain was in stable condition, Sunday afternoon, after falling through the roof of a burning home around mid-day.

It happened in the 2700 block of Bacon.

Information released by the department indicates the fire likely started by a roofer using a torch.

The captain, a 25-year veteran of the St. Louis Fire Department, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
