WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOX) — Wentzville residents are being ordered to conserve water until a 36-inch water main is repaired.

Those served by the city of Wentzville and Public Water Service District No. 2 are being told they can’t do laundry, water their lawns, wash their cars or use water for other “recreational or non-essential” purposes until further notice.

No word on why the repairs are needed, or how long the mandatory conservation order will be in place.
