Loop Trolley Addresses Security Concerns

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – With all the recent crime along the Metrolink line, organizers of the soon-to-open Loop Trolley are taking notice.

Trolley promoter Joe Edwards of Blueberry Hill says there has been some talk of adding security personnel to the trolleys “whenever necessary .” Plans so far call for security cameras on each trolley, and riders won’t be allowed on without a ticket. The two-mile trolley running from Forest Park to the Delmar Loop is expected to open to the public in mid October.
