Illinois Lottery’s “Ticket for a Cure” is Back

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The 2017 version of the Illinois Lottery’s “Ticket For the Cure” game is now available.

Acting lottery director Greg Smith says the tickets cost $3 each.

“100 percent of the proceeds from the tickets benefit breast cancer research, awareness and education,” he says.

Smith says the program has raised more than $12 million since it began in 2006 a first-of-its-kind in the nation.
