Member of Super Bowl Champion Rams Dies at 42

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Backup defensive lineman for the Super Bowl XXXIV champion St. Louis Rams Nate Hobgood-Chittick has died at age 42.

The “Morning Call” newspaper in Pennsylvania reports he suffered a fatal heart attack on Saturday.

Hobgood-Chittick worked as a financial advisor in southern California since retiring from the NFL, after six seasons spent with five teams.

During his time in St. Louis, he volunteered as a home mentor for the Evangelical Children’s Home, according to the newspaper.
