ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The Kranzberg Arts Foundation is determined to replicate the magic touch its shown in Grand Center in another City neighborhood–Old North. Ken Kranzberg says they’ve already rehabbed a building there for the Northside Workshop, an arts facility. They had a grocery co-op that didn’t succeed.

“Now we’re in the process of fixing that building up for an organization called Building Futures,” he says.

The ribbon cutting is this morning at 10. Building Futures teaches kids design and construction, working with power tools and problem solving skills. Kranzberg calls it a “remarkable” program.
