ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A national financial analyst says political bias can affect a person’s investing sense.

Speaking with KMOX’s Hancock and Kelley, Larry Swedroe gave the example of Democrats doing better than Republicans from 2008 to 2016.

“When the party we favor is in power, we tend to think that when there are problems they will get them resolved favorably and quickly, so we tend not to act, we don’t panic and sell, we stay the course,” he says.

Swedroe says those not agreeing with the party in power often cast too much doubt and sell too soon.
