ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Craft beer favorite Schlafly celebrates its “golden birthday” this month and, to mark the occasion, founding brewer Stephen Hale shared which new brews will be released next year.
He made the reveal Monday via Facebook Live. Watch it here.
Not only will customers experience new tastes, but packaging on bottles and cans will also be new. Schlafly’s 26th birthday on December 26th will also coincide with special pricing at the Schlafly Tap Room downtown.
Here’s what’s new this year:
Schlafly IPA (new year-round release in bottles plus 16 0z. cans)
Schlafly Hoppy Wheat (12 packs of 16 oz. cans in spring)
Schlafly Oktoberfest (16 oz. cans for fall)
Meantime, seasonals returning by popular demand include Schlafly Coconut Crème Ale and Schlafly Double Bean Blonde. Watch out for variety packs like patio packs for the summer and bonfire packs for the fall.
Six-packs available in January will be Northeast IPA. Next summer will bring an India Pale Lager.
New to the Ibex Cellar packs — named for the basement room which holds the wooden barrels — will be a Sour Blonde, also slated to be available on its own as a 4-pack.
Check out Schlafly’s calendar below for a month-by-month schedule of when specific products will be released.
