ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis-based rapper Nelly was facing some very serious allegations, but it now appears he’s off the hook.

Prosecutors in Washington State say rape charges will not be filed against Nelly over a tour bus incident in October.

King County authorities say the alleged victim is not cooperating with the investigation.

She called 911 to report the sexual assault happened in the parking lot of an Auburn Washington Wal-Mart, but has since told police she didn’t want Nelly prosecuted.

Following his arrest, Nelly took to Twitter claiming to be “completely innocent” of the charges, and said he was the victim of a “false and defaming allegation.”
