ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The St. Charles County Council meets Monday night, but they won’t be voting on a controversial agenda item. It’s that trash transfer station proposed near Family Arena. They’re pushing the matter off to another meeting.

“The county council will make the final decision either to approve the application, approve it with conditions or deny it,” says Planning and Zoning director Robert Myers.

Myers reminded us that both the planning board and city staff recommended the trash station not be approved. St. Charles City is also opposed. The council says they’ll be tabling the matter tonight because the county’s research isn’t yet done.
