U.S. Marshalls attacked in St. Louis
A Represenative of the Federal Bureau of Investigation leaves a house where two U.S. Marshall's and a St. Louis police officer were shot while serving an arrest warrant to a fugitive in St. Louis on March 8, 2011. According to neighbors when the suspect was confronted, he reportedly pulled a gun and started shooting. He was later found dead in the house. The three lawmen were transported to local hospitals. According to a hospital spokesperson, the St. Louis police officer was grazed when a bullet from the suspectâs gun was deflected by his vest. His injury is not serious. The two U.S. Marshals were taken to another hospital where a spokesperson says one is in critical condition from a gunshot wound, and the other is being treated for minor injuries.
