1/10/12-The new Mississippi River Bridge under construction just north of downtown St. Louis reached another milestone today. The towers that will support the cable-stayed span are now 200 ft. above the surface of the river, reaching the halfway point of their eventual height. Officials say rising at a rate of about 15-feet per week, the bridge should reach the 400 foot mark by early summer, with an overall completion date of early 2014. (KMOX/Brett Blume)
