EVERGLADES%20NATIONAL%20PARK%2C%20FL%20%26%238211%3B%20AUGUST%2005%3A%20The%20water%20is%20still%20in%20the%20Florida%20Everglades%20after%20the%20South%20Florida%20Water%20Management%20District%20announced%20it%20may%20reduce%20the%20size%20of%20the%20deal%20it%20had%20announced%20earlier%20in%20the%20year%20with%20U.S.%20Sugar%20on%20August%205%2C%202010%20in%20the%20Everglades%20National%20Park%2C%20Florida.%20The%20original%20proposal%2C%20announced%20in%202008%2C%20was%20to%20buy%20all%20of%20the%20U.S.%20Sugar%20Corporations%20assets%20and%20use%20the%20land%20to%20replenish%20the%20Everglades%2C%20letting%20water%20from%20Lake%20Okeechobee%20run%20its%20natural%20route.%20The%20plan%20now%20because%20of%20state%20budget%20cut%20backs%20is%20to%20buy%2026%2C800%20acres%20and%20retain%20a%2010-year%20option%20to%20buy%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20land.%20%28Photo%20by%20Joe%20Raedle%2FGetty%20Images%29
