St. Louis Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce should expect a visit from Stray Rescue’s Randy Grim this week. He will demand what he calls, “Justice For Brownie.”
Adrienne Martin was accused of setting Brownie on fire in July 2013. His burns were so bad, he had to be euthanized.
Joyce says the charges can be refiled in 2016, if a witness comes forward.
Adrienne Martin is accused of setting ‘Brownie’ on fire and then bragging about it on Facebook.
Adrienne Martin’s attorney says her ride was late, so instead of getting there at 9 a.m., she arrived around 11:15 a.m.
Court records show an arrest warrant has been issued for Adrienne Martin.
The woman who allegedly killed “Brownie” the dog by setting him on fire, and then bragged about it on Facebook, may go on trial this week.
The dog, named Brownie by rescuers, eventually died.
Adrienne Martin’s attorney, Philip Dennis, said outside the courthouse to not judge his client until there is a verdict.
“I would like for the people who are advocates to wait until there is a verdict before they want to ruin somebody’s life”
