According to St. Louis County police this began unfolding just before midnight in the 8500 block of Philo in Affton.

The body of 12-year-old Affton boy was recovered Tuesday afternoon.
That body, and the clothes on it, matched the description of 12-year-old Christoper Marks. A medical examiner has since confirmed that the body is that of Marks.
