Despite efforts to end their intrusions, telemarketers are still at it, and now Missouri is suing three companies for allegedly violating the state’s telemarketing and No Call laws.
The U.S. Department of Justice has released the findings of its investigation into Ferguson government, including the police department, confirming a pattern of racial discrimination.
Ferguson City Attorney Stephanie Karr and Mayor James Knowles III said they have not been contacted by the Department of Justice about any findings, nor given a timeline for completion of the investigations.
According to CNN, the issue at stake is “a pattern of racially discriminatory tactics used by officers within the Ferguson Police Department.”
Speaking Tuesday at the National Press Club, Holder said in response to a question that the reviews were underway and that he expected to “make those calls before I leave office.”
