Blues call on St. Louis native to back up Brian Elliott while Jaroslav Halak gets over a case of the flu

Bishop was promoted to the NHL due to Halak’s injury, and his NHL tryout has begun.
Kiprusoff stopped 25 shots for his sixth shutout of this season and 40th of his career, and hasn’t allowed the Blues to score in 132 minutes and 11 seconds.
Calgary moved into sole possession of 6th place in the Western Conference, and the Blues remain in 13th place. The two meet again Tuesday night at Scottrade Center.
