A federal court has denied a request by imprisoned former Gov. Rod Blagojevich to delay his resentencing while he asks the U.S. Supreme Court to hear his case.
It wasn’t immediately clear whether the stunning decision means the 58-year-old, currently Inmate No. 40892-424 in a Colorado prison, will serve less than his original 14-year sentence.
Blagojevich to prison, Jesse Jackson Jr. resignation, also make the top-10.
Soon to teach either Shakespeare or ancient Greek philosophy and mythology to other prisoners.
