The Mehlville School District voted Thursday night unanimously 6-0 to make budget cuts.
The Illinois State Senate held a joint Appropriations I and II Committee hearing to collect testimony about the impact the governor’s proposed budget cuts.
Voters said “no” to more money for Webster Groves schools last week.
The cuts are expected to save the district four million dollars.
