Stewart, 24, appeared in 79 regular season games for the Blues last season posting 30 points.

Chris Stewart has been given a suspension for hitting Niklas Kronwall from behind into the boards in the first period of the Blues 2-1 win on Tuesday night.
Kari Lehtonen stopped 36 shots, Loui Eriksson scored short-handed, and the Dallas Stars hung on to beat the Blues 3-2.
The Blues got two goals from their defensemen to take a 3-1 lead. Shattenkirk converted Langenbrunner’s backhand feed at 3:39 of the second and Pietrangelo’s one-timer from the right point with 4:30 to play gave the Blues a two-goal advantage.
