It’s unclear if iconic St. Louis horses will be in Budweiser’s Super Bowl ads.
Anheuser-Busch will debut five new ads during the Super Bowl XLVIII broadcast on FOX, February 2nd. With the average 30-second spot going for $4 million, AB is throwing down a pretty big chuck of cash to hold 3.5 minutes of air time.
Seventeen baby Clydesdales have been born at Anheuser-Busch’s state-of-the-art Clydesdale breeding farm this year.
Using #clydesdales, Budweiser also is asking Twitter followers of @Budweiser and Facebook friends to help name the young equine star, who will be seen by an estimated 110+ million viewers next Sunday during Super Bowl XLVII.
The ranch said that 28 foals were born between February and June 18 fillies and 10 colts.
Officials say more than 30 baby Clydesdales are expected to be born at the ranch near Boonville this year.
Storied horses won’t be making the scene for the first time since 1953
The Budweiser Clydesdales will get the show started at 4:00, leading a “Procession of Champions” along Market from 18th Street to 7th, making a turn South to Stan Musial Drive and into Busch Stadium.
