NFL senior vice president Frank Supovitz gave the impression that things are on track and ready to go despite the uncertainties the lockout poses to the game scheduled for Feb. 5.
Last month’s Super Bowl in the Dallas area included bitter cold, ice and snow. Falling ice at Cowboys Stadium even injured several people.
The displaced fans have been offered a choice of a payment and free ticket to next year’s game, or a free ticket to any Super Bowl, plus round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations.
The federal lawsuit, filed in Dallas, alleges breach of contract, fraud and deceptive sales practices.
