Some call it the ‘Don’t Get Sick’ bill, others the ‘Breaking the Poverty Cycle’ bill. Regardless, it’s making waves in Jefferson City.
Wedge issues are deliberately divisive measures to identify for voters a clear difference between the two political parties.
The bill appears unlikely to pass before the session ends May 18.
