Schools and businesses damaged during unrest in Ferguson and Dellwood in the aftermath of the fatal shooting of Michael Brown are about to get some help.
Board issues “notice of charges”
“It’s very expensive,” Thomas-Murray with St. Louis Public Schools says. “We spent over $2 million in homeless transportation last year.”
The Ferguson-Florissant district was going to have to use $3 million from its reserve to balance its budget but it will wind up with a $1.2 million surplus.
