Rejected Bond Issue May Hurt St. Louis Fire Department

The St. Louis Fire Chief is disappointed that city voters rejected a $180 million bond issue on Tuesday, which included $40 million for the fire department.

ST. LOUIS, (KMOX) - Smoke from a four-alarm fire south of the Gateway Arch Monday morning covered downtown St. Louis.  The fire broke out at a three-story Servco warehouse near Second St. and Cedar around 11:30 a.m.  The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. (KMOX/Kevin Killeen)
