An early Tuesday fire destroyed the vehicle maintenance facility for the Missouri State Highway Patrol and damaged more than a dozen vehicles.
The fire was reported around 4:30 a.m. Monday at a frame home along a rural road in St. Francois County near Park Hills, about 70 miles southwest of St. Louis.
