Average unleaded cost for drivers, locally and nationally, was $3.66 per gallon, Saturday.
“We’ll peak somewhere between now and let’s say Cinco de Mayo,” Tom Kloza, of the Oil Price Information Service said.
Some fill up tanks for as low as $2.92 per gallon on Saturday.
“We’ve seen a dramatic drop over the past several days and I would expect it to continue. I think finally U.S. drivers are going to get a break.”
