The St. Louis Police have released video of an armed robbery in South St. Louis.
Drive-thru patrons of a Jack in the Box in south city were robbed Tuesday night, police say.
It began with people with questions and MoDOT’s Deanna Venker with answers. But as the opinions came out, she retreated to the back of the room and said she’d speak with people individually.
At about 9:01 a.m. today, a suspect announced a robbery at the US Bank at 3881 Gravois after he handed a teller a note.
At about 12:45 p.m., a man entered the U.S. Bank at 3881 block of Gravois and handed the teller a note announcing a robbery. He did not indicate or show a weapon.
Shortly after noon Monday, the man handed a teller a demand note at St Louis Community Credit Union at 7224 Gravois.
Authorities say a man entered the 7-Eleven store at 5604 Gravois just after midnight on June 10 and shot Bhutanese refugee Mon Rai, 30, in the back, killing him.
Police say an officer patrolling the area saw two men he recognized from past encounters. One of the men ran and the officer chased him.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Mon Rai, a Bhutanese refugee who came to St. Louis last year with his wife and 7-year-old son.
In both cases, the suspect headed straight for the register and announced a robbery, showing the clerk a gun in his waistband.
