Back Handspring Record Holder Flips For KMOX

With 42 consecutive flips, Sidney Iking Bateman of St. Louis holds the Guinness World Record for most back handsprings by a male.


6/18/13-For the fourth straight year kids ages 3-12 took part in the effort to set a new Guinness World Record for largest swim lesson. The underlying message: drowning is the 2nd leading cause of accidental death for children under age 15. It's not yet known if the worldwide effort reached the goal of 24,873 participants needed to break the record, which was set during the same event last year. (KMOX/Brett Blume)

Hoops for Joplin Goes on in St. Louis

The game will be nonstop for 110 hours, with no timeouts, and rests for the players are not to exceed three hours. The 24 players are divided into two 12-member squads called Team St. Louis and Team Joplin.
