Both shot and killed on Sunday
St Louis County Police say a man was shot and killed Sunday night just before 9 p.m. in the 9400 block of Westchester Drive in Jennings.
Police say that Billy Cushshon-Bey and 18-year-old Jakeem Hicks approached Tyrone Thompson as he exited his SUV in 2010 but Thompson, a former Pagedale Police Chief, pulled a gun.
An initial search of the area turned up nothing but about a half hour later a man’s body was found inside a car that had crashed at the intersection of Newby St. and Tillie Ave., not far away.
Denitra Jones’ body was discovered in a back bedroom of their home in the 5400 block of Forest Creek drive Monday morning.
A 38-year-old man was struck in the head and died at the scene. A 24-year-old was hospitalized with a bullet wound to the leg but has been released.
