Hundreds in the Bosnian community in South St. Louis gathered and marched Monday night, in part to remember Begic, as well as to condemn violence in the community.
Tuesday morning brought another phase of the protest in the wake of the Ferguson grand jury decision.
According to a news release from the St. Louis County Police Department, police were advised that protestors were planning to march to Interstate 270 to try to shut down the highway.
