Columbia, Mo. man arrested in East St. Louis after alleged crime committed on MetroLink train
Charlie Dooley voiced strong concerns about the plan, warning it might conflict with his dream of expanding Metrolink to Westport.
“Meteorologists nailed this. The storm came in hot and heavy. We endured four or five hours of heavy snow.”
Britt Palmberg with Hudson and Associates conducted the Transit Oriented Development Study, paid for with a $525,000 grant.
The name of the 24-year-old suspect has not been released.
The victim was a 33-year-old man but few other details are known. His body was found around 11:30 last night at 2nd Street and Washington Avenue.
“It will pull quite a bit of traffic off the local roads so we’ll make those more walkable.”
Passes will need to be validated by customers prior to boarding the trains
St. Louis recently got a grant from the Federal Government for Community Planning, and now MetroLink and East-West Gateway need to plan how to use it.
