House Committee Investigates Highway Patrol after Drowning Death

Missouri State Highway Patrol’s superintendent refused to provide information about the death of a 20-year-old Iowa resident who drowned while in the custody of a water patrol trooper during an Oct. 1 House committee hearing.

Highway Patrol Planning for Worst in Ferguson Shooting

The head of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says law officers are “planning for the worst” in anticipation of a grand jury decision on whether to indict a white police officer who shot a black 18-year-old.
