A fire is blamed for a power outage that left thousands of St. Louis residents without electricity on a cold night.
Outages now stand at 12,000 statewide and 10,000 in the St. Louis area.
Just under 8,000 Ameren Missouri customers are still without power in the wake of Thursday’s high winds.
With just a simple text or email, Ameren customers can now receive account and outage information.
