Rep. Sara Lampe
House and Senate Republicans continue to be divided on many issues in the budget, including the passage of a $70 million tax amnesty program.
The bill would create higher accountability standards for charter schools as well as allowing them to expand to more unaccredited districts.
The state is currently $268 million below what is needed to fully fund Missouri’s schools.
