A third person in the cockpit of a Southwest Airlines plane that landed at the wrong Missouri airport was a company dispatcher who had authority to be there, airline officials said Tuesday.
A Southwest Airlines flight that was supposed to land at Branson Airport in Missouri instead touched down Sunday night at a smaller airport near the southwest Missouri resort town.
The airline added the Branson and Key West airports in 2012 as part of its integration with subsidiary AirTran.
