Chiefs Team Grades: K.C. Offense Comes Up Short Against Stout Pittsburgh DefenseThe Kansas City Chiefs lost on Sunday night, 18-16, to the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC Divisional Round Playoff matchup, marking the fourth time in a row now that the Chiefs have not been able to capitalize on a playoff bye. The Kansas City defense did its job, holding the Steelers offense out of the end zone and forcing six field goals. However, the Chiefs offense couldn't generate enough scoring opportunities of its own after a first-possession touchdown drive, and a game-tying two-point conversion in the fourth quarter was called back due to a holding penalty. That's how close it was for Kansas City, which now hasn't won a home playoff game since the 1993 postseason when Joe Montana was the quarterback.
